Another day of Hiking

Missy really wanted to hike up the Precipice Trail which is a very steep narrow trail where, according to a story in the newspaper, a guy had froze and had to be rescued last week.  We convinced her that the Beehive trail would be just as exciting and she would not have to go alone.  We started with the six die hard hikers and when we got to where the trail split, one trail went up the face and the other way, less steep came up the back side, we lost the the three who don't like steep drop offs.
As you can see it is very narrow with sheer drop offs

 steel ladders

and great views

Our path was block by a group of Japaneses tourist
so we took a path less traveled.  This tree was
growing in the middle of the path

it was a little tricky to get around

There are always great views

And panoramic shots

We met up with the three that took the easy way

The path is not always steep

Blueberries are everywhere

Sand Beach to Otter Cliff

The coastline is always beautiful

It was hot and Sand Beach was crowded

The Pond at Seal Cove Cabins

Mary and Rick's cabin

Climbing the rocks along the coast

The prefect end to another day of hiking

Awesome photos and views. Sounds like you are having a ball. What it's all about, eh?
