Father's Day Thunder Hole and Sand Beach

Dedicated to John Mohl
This post is dedicated to our friend John Mohl who died from a massive heart attack on Father's Day. John was one of the nicest guys I ever knew, he was a member of the Praise Band at church and was always up beat, just being around him made you feel better.  He never failed to ask about our kids and you knew he really wanted to know. John was a special person and will be missed by all who knew him.
My Fathers Day started with breakfast at the Log Cabin.  We had a free breakfast as the owner keeps coming into the office for feedback and wanting us to recommend the place to our campers.  We are still not impressed the service is poor and the food on the buffet was just okay the blueberry pancake was great but took over 20 minutes to arrive at our table.
After breakfast we headed out to Thunder Hole.  When the tide is  coming in if the wave hits just right it sounds like thunder.  I don't know how I managed to get this picture with no one in it because there were people everywhere.
This guy had to paint fast because when the tide comes in his seat is  underwater.
We walked to Sand Beach and on a two or three mile trail on the other side
Is this a picture post card or what?

Looking out to sea.  I love the panoramic pictures my new camera takes.  It automatically stitches 3 shots together.
I took a lot of shots trying to catch the waves hitting the rocks, the beauty of digital.
A small tidal pool.
There were lots of good looking babes on the trail

Sand Beach from the trail on the other side.

Just a few miles from Sand Beach is this beach that is all round and oval stones. When the water rushes out it  sounds like someone is dumping a load of the stones from a dump truck.  Turn up the sound and listen below.

It was a great Father's Day.
