Yesterday we drove over to Willow Lake and took a walk/hike.
There are some unique rook formations to climb on around the lake.
Linda thought see was back in Bar Harbor.
After our walk we took a trip to Sams and after returning to our campground, we walked up on the rocks behind us for a cocktail in the sun and saw this guy sunning himself.
We started our Sunday with worship at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Prescott Valley where we met a man who worked for ATT/NCR in St. Louis when I did and whose daughter went to SIU Edwardsville. It's a small world.

After Church we decided to go out to eat and after searching the web
for options, we ended up back at our favorite brewery. The above
picture and the one to the right is of Thumb Butte, a Prescott landmark.

After lunch we decided to drive out to the thumb and hike to the top. It was another great hike with spectacular views. However, we recommend having lunch and a pint after the hike instead of before. While the trail to the top was paved, it rose almost a 1000 feet in less than a mile. Have I mentioned that starting a climb at 5000 ft. is not as easy as starting at sea level?
Here comes that hot babe that started following me in Acadia. She's not quite as fast in the altitude either.
