US 93 Congress to Bullhead City

After a week in Mesa it was time to move again.  We headed back up to the SKP park in Congress for a couple of days.  I got the truck and trailer washed again and the kitchen grey water tank (which stared leaking again in Prescott) repaired before the cold weather moved in. The North Ranch is a great park but it is a long way to shopping.  The residents are nice and they have an indoor pickleball court where we played several hours before I pulled a muscle in my leg.
On Thursday we took off for Bullhead City, AZ which is just across the Colorado River from Laughlin, NV.  Our niece is a high school softball coach in Las Vegas and her team is playing in a tournament this weekend in Bullhead City so we will be attending several softball games.

These pictures really do not do justice to the scenery along highway 93.  It was a very diverse terrain.  As we rolled along we passed through the largest Joshua tree forest in AZ. and later a large area of Saguaro cactus.

As you can see there was a small river in the desert that made a green strip of trees appear.

 There were mountain ranges

And rock formations

Here is a campground along the Colorado as we enter in to Bullhead City.  To the left is a picture of the casinos across the river in Laughlin.
